USRX PROGRAMS & RESOURCES
UMR/HealthScope Enrollees have Pharmacy Benefits administered by USRx. Starting 10/1/2024, USRx will handle Specialty Drug Management and is rolling out new programs to save Chefs' employees money on prescription drugs!
(NEW!) USRx Programs
New for 2024/2025, there will be several programs through USRx designed to help save both you and Chefs’ money!
- Copay Assist – leverages funding available through drug manufacturers to provide access to high-cost medications at no/low cost. If you have been prescribed a medication eligible for funding through the CopayAssist program, you will be contacted by US-Rx Care to educate you on the details of the program and to assist in the enrollment process.
- ScriptPass – a supplemental program that can provide many specialty medications for a $0 copay. Medications must be determined medically necessary and require prior authorization by USRx. Eligibility is based on household size and income – if your medication qualifies for the program, a ScriptPass advocate will reach out to assist with the application and enrollment.
- For members choosing not to participate in this program, your out-of-pocket cost will increase to 75% of the cost of the medication up to a maximum of $10,000 per fill. Any such increase will not count toward any plan deductible or out-of-pocket maximum.
- Members currently enrolled with Payer Matrix will be grandfathered into ScriptPass.
