DISABILITY INSURANCE
What would you do if a sickness or injury left you unable to come to work and earn your paycheck? In the event that you become disabled from an injury or sickness, disability income benefits will provide a partial replacement of lost income.
Allied Beverage subsidizes the cost of New Jersey State Disability and provides Basic Long Term Disability at no cost to you. You also have the option to enroll in a richer Buy-Up Long-Term disability benefit.
Please note, for this open enrollment, Evidence of Insurability is NOT required in order to elect the Buy Up Long-Term Disability benefit. If you decline during this Open Enrollment, Evidence of Insurability (EOI) will be required should you choose to enroll moving forward.
SUPPLEMENTAL LIFE INSURANCE
While Allied Beverage offers basic life insurance, some employees may want to purchase additional coverage.
Are you the sole provider for your household? What other expenses do you expect in the future (for example, college tuition for your child)? Depending on your needs, you may want to consider buying voluntary life insurance.
Please note, for this Open Enrollment only, The Hartford will not require Evidence of Insurability for Voluntary Life amounts elected up to the Guaranteed Issue amount. After this Open Enrollment, The Hartford Evidence of Insurability form is required when enrolling in coverage above the Guaranteed Issue or increasing your coverage amount after this enrollment period.
