BENEFITS OF HEALTHJOY
With this benefit, you and your family can consult with doctors via telephone or video conference! Doctors can make diagnoses, recommend treatment, and call-in prescriptions when appropriate. HealthJoy will also save you time and avoid unnecessary visits to the ER or long waits for an appointment at the doctor’s office. HealthJoy’s telehealth service is often the first call members make when experiencing non-emergency illness or injury. Many routine cases can be safely treated via phone or video conference. Telemedicine is appropriate for many common medical conditions including:
