Williams Companies will continue to offer two dental plan options through MetLife and a vision plan through Ameritas.
DENTAL
Williams Companies will continue to offer two dental plan options through MetLife. You have the option of choosing from two PPO plans.
- The Low Plan does not include coverage for orthodontia or Major Restorative services.
- The High Plan includes orthodontia coverage for dependent children up to the age of 19, as well as coverage for Major Restorative services.
Both plans provide members the option of visiting an in-network provider or out-of-network provider. However, you will achieve maximum savings by visiting an in-network provider.
Individuals that enroll in the High Plan will pay a slightly higher employee contribution for the richer coverage.
VISION
Driving to work, reading a news article and watching TV are all activities you likely perform every day. Your ability to do all of these activities, though, depends on your vision and eye health. Vision insurance can help you maintain your vision as well as detect various health problems.
Williams' vision insurance will continue to be through Ameritas, utilizing VSP's network. The offered plan covers routine eye exams and other procedures and provides specified dollar amounts or discounts for purchasing eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Every 12 months you and your dependents can obtain routine eye exams and lenses. Frames are available to you and your dependents every 24 months.
