PPO 2500
TRADITIONAL
This traditional medical plan offering provides access to the Highmark network. You may access both in-network and out-of-network coverage, though we always encourage you to seek care in-network whenever possible. For certain services, you will be required to satisfy the $2,500 deductible before plan coverage kicks in. For other services, there are copays (flat dollar amounts) that apply per service or per prescription, regardless of whether you have satisfied the deductible.
PPO 1000
TRADITIONAL
This traditional medical plan offering provides access to the Highmark network. For certain services, you will be required to satisfy the $1,000 deductible before plan coverage kicks in. For other services, there are copays (flat dollar amounts) that apply per service or per prescription, regardless of whether you have satisfied the deductible.
RBP 1000
REFERENCE-BASED PRICING (RBP)
The Reference Based Pricing (RBP) arrangement allows you to utilize any provider you choose. You have the freedom to utilize the HealthSmart network of physicians, however, if you see a provider that does not participate in the HealthSmart network, you will still have access to the same level of benefits and will pay the same out-of-pocket costs. Providers and facilities are paid by the plan administrator based on the fair market value of the service.

HEALTHNOW (HNAS)
HealthNow (HNAS) is the administrator of all three of Steve Shannon's medical plans. You will receive a physical ID card from HNAS in the mail if you elect to enroll in a Steve Shannon medical plan.
You will also need to register for the HNAS portal. Through their portal, you can access your claims, eligibility, temporary health plan ID card, and other valuable plan information 24/7.
