BASIC LIFE INSURANCE
Life insurance can help provide for your loved ones if something were to happen to you. Brian provides full-time employees a life insurance benefit of $50,000 and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) policy in the same amount. Benefits reduce by 35% at age 65, and they reduce by another 15% at age 70.
SHORT TERM DISABILITY
At no cost to the employee, Brian offers short term disability insurance to help replace lost income due to injury or sickness. Benefits begin on the 15th calendar day of the disability, and the duration of benefits is 24 weeks after the elimination period. The benefit amount is 60% of weekly pre-disability earnings, with a maximum of $1,000.
LONG TERM DISABILITY
Similar to short term disability, long term disability is offered at no cost to employees. These benefits help replace income for disabilities lasting longer than the short term disability period. They begin on the 181st calendar day of the disability. Benefits end at Social Security Normal Retirement Age, and replace 60% of monthly pre-disability earnings with a maximum of $10,000. Pre-existing conditions have a 3 months look back, 12 months after exclusion.
