CAREBRIDGE EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
Everyone experiences problems in their lives. Usually these problems can be dealt with on our own, but at other times we may benefit from asking for professional help.
Dunwoody offers the services of Carebridge as your EAP because we value a healthy employee. So, when life’s problems begin to weigh on you, licensed counselors are trained to help you identify the source of your concerns and find effective solutions quickly. Carebridge not only offers mental health support, but they also have work-life services such as childcare/eldercare referrals, financial/legal assistance, and much more. You can even get assistance with things such as stress relief, mindfulness, and goal setting.
You and your household family members have access to 3 FREE counseling sessions, per issue, per year and every interaction with Carebridge is 100% confidential.

TOBACCO CESSATION PROGRAM
Dunwoody is committed to helping employees quit tobacco. We will continue to cover over-the-counter Nicotine Replacement Therapy drugs at 100%. You will still need a prescription from your doctor, but you will not have a copay. Simply take your prescription and the over-the-counter drug to the pharmacy counter and they will process it at a $0 copay prescription. Or you can submit your receipt for the over-the-counter drug with your prescription attached to Independence Administrators for reimbursement.
Employees and spouses on the plan will be asked to sign a tobacco free affidavit at open enrollment. Employees and spouses on the plan who choose to continue to use tobacco will be charged an additional $25 (each) per pay period beginning January 1, 2025. Both an employee and spouse must be tobacco free to avoid the surcharge. If an employee is tobacco free but their spouse is not, a $25 tobacco surcharge will be applied each pay period. If both an employee and spouse use tobacco, a $50 tobacco surcharge will be applied each pay period.
Tobacco users will be given a reasonable alternative to avoid this surcharge. If tobacco users agree to enroll in a tobacco cessation program, they may avoid the $25 or $50 per pay surcharge. However, employees and spouses who choose this alternative standard must enroll in a program by January 1, 2025 and provide proof of completion to HR. If an employee selects a program with a fee, Dunwoody will pay for the cost of the program. Please see HR if you need help finding a local cessation program.
