DENTAL
DENTAL PLANS
Hapag-Lloyd will continue to offer two dental plans through Delta Dental The Core Plan and the Buy-Up Plan. All members will have access to the Delta Dental network of dentists.
Please note that these plans allow you to have the flexibility to receive dental treatment from any dentist you choose, either participating or non-participating. However, you will experience greater cost savings by utilizing in-network dentists.
For both Core and Buy-Up Plans:
- Composite (white) Filings: Are covered for the entire mouth.
- Oral Health Enhancement: For members with periodontal disease, cleanings will be covered up to 4 times per year. Oral exams will continue to be covered 2 times per year.
VISION
VISION PLAN
Hapag-Lloyd has their vision insurance through VSP and it entitles you to specific eye care benefits. The VSP Vision Plan provides you with quality vision care coverage. Through this plan, you may receive both an eye exam and materials (lenses, frames, contact lenses).
You can choose to receive care from a VSP provider (in-network) or from any doctor of your choosing (out-of-network). You get the best value from your vision benefits when you visit a VSP participating provider. If you decide to see an out-of-network provider, you will receive a lesser benefit and typically pay more out-of-pocket.
