The Merion Cricket Club strives to provide you and your family with a comprehensive and valuable benefits package. We want to make sure you’re getting the most out of our benefits – that’s why we’ve put together this Open Enrollment Guide.

BENEFITS OVERVIEW
MEDICAL PLANS Your Medical Insurance Provider will continue to be Cigna, and there will be two plan options - the CIGNA OAP Plan and the CIGNA HDHP w HSA Plan. You will have access to Cigna's Open Access Plus Network. There are plan changes to both plans:
- OAP Plan: Inpatient Hospital Copay will now be $600, and Outpatient Copay will be $400.
- HDHP Plan: The Deductible will be $3,000 single / $6,000 family.
The OAP plan will continue to be paired with a reimbursement mechanism to help offset costs for inpatient hospital stays. Please see the Medical & Prescription page for more information.
Merion will continue to contribute $1,250 into the HSA for singles, and $2,000 for families enrolled in the CIGNA HDHP w HSA Plan. This is up front funding provided by Merion to help offset eligible expenses that apply to your deductible. You are not required to contribute to this account to obtain the funding.
DENTAL PLANS The dental program will continue to be administered by Cigna.
VISION PLANS The vision plan will continue to be administered by Vision Benefits of America (VBA).
SPENDING ACCOUNTS The healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts will continue to be administered by Ameriflex. You will also have the ability to contribute to a transit flexible spending account. The health savings account (HSA) will continue to be administered by Payflex.
LIFE AND DISABILITY The Basic Life/AD&D and Voluntary Life/AD&D will continue to be offered through The Hartford.
VOLUNTARY The voluntary benefit plans will continue to be offered through Prudential for the 2025/2026 plan year.
ENROLLMENT CONSIDERATIONS
Benefit elections you make during open enrollment will become effective on December 1, 2025. If you have questions about any of the benefits stated in this guide, please do not hesitate to reach out to Human Resources, or The Graham Company Service Line at 1-888-842-1488. Open enrollment is the period each year when you can make changes to your benefits. This guide will outline benefit options that are available to you and your family.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
All full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for health insurance (including the Health Savings Account if the applicable plan is elected) and the Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Employees working 35 or more hours per week are eligible for all other benefits offered.
DEPENDENT COVERAGE
In addition to electing coverage for yourself, you can elect to cover your eligible dependents. Your eligible dependents include your spouse, your same or opposite sex domestic partner, your children up to age 26 regardless of student status, marital status, financial dependence or residence and your children of any age who are mentally or physically disabled and depend upon you for support.
EMPLOYEES EXPERIENCING A QUALIFIED CHANGE OF STATUS
Unless you experience a life-changing qualifying event, you cannot make changes to your benefits until the next open enrollment period.
Qualifying events include:
- Marriage, divorce or legal separation
- Birth or adoption of a child
- Change in child’s dependent status
- Death of a spouse, child or other qualified dependent
- Change in residence
- Change in employment status or a change in coverage under another employer-sponsored plan
If you do experience a Qualified Life Event, you will have 30 days from the date of the Qualified Event to submit any changes.
Please note, coverage for the Prudential Voluntary Benefits and the Transit Reimbursement Account can be dropped without a Qualifying Event.
