INTRODUCTION
Williams Companies is pleased to offer you and your family a comprehensive benefits program. Understanding your healthcare options and determining the best plan options that fit you and your family's needs should be a high priority during the annual Open Enrollment period.
Benefits are a valuable part of your overall compensation where they can help protect important things like your income and your assets if you become sick or injured and unable to work. We understand that navigating through your benefits package can be complex and wish to offer as much support and valuable information as possible.
BENEFITS OVERVIEW
MEDICAL PLANS - You will continue to have the option to enroll in the Signature HRA Plan, PPO Plan, or Premium PPO Plan. There are no changes to the plan designs. You will not receive a new medical and prescription ID card unless you are enrolling in a medical plan for the first time, or if you are switching plans.
VIRTUAL CARE - NEW! If you are enrolled in one of the medical plans, you and your enrolled dependents have access to Aetna's telemedicine platform. This will be moving from Teladoc to CVS Virtual Care for 2025.
HEALTH REIMBURSEMENT ARRANGEMENT (HRA) - Williams will continue to fund $1,000 of HRA funding for single coverage, and $2,000 of HRA funding for family coverage in the Signature HRA Plan to help offset deductible expenses.
WELLNESS - NEW! The Aetna wellness program will continue to be available through the medical coverage, however, the platform is being rebranded for 2025. Please click here for more information.
RX ‘N GO - This is a supplement to the current prescription program that allows you to order mail-order prescriptions that deliver up to a 90-day supply of medications right to your home. This is a FREE program that will continue to be available for 2025!
AETNA’S BACK AND JOINT PROGRAM - This is a no-cost virtual physical therapy program that will continue to be available in 2025 to team members enrolled in one of Williams’ medical plans. This program will be introducing a new pathway dedicated to Women's Pelvic Health for 2025. Please click here for more information.
DENTAL PLANS - MetLife will continue to be your dental provider. You will continue to have the option to choose from two plan options: The High Plan or the Low Plan.
VISION PLAN - Ameritas will continue to be your vision provider, utilizing VSP’s Choice network. There are no changes to the plan design.
LIFE/DISABILITY INSURANCE - The Life/AD&D administration will remain with Equitable and the disability insurance administration will remain with Lincoln Financial. Williams Companies will continue to provide Basic Life/AD&D, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability to you at no cost. You and your eligible dependents will continue to have the option to purchase Voluntary Life/AD&D.
VOLUNTARY BENEFITS - Accident and Cancer plans will continue to be offered through Guardian. These plans offer enhanced coverage options to enrollees.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS (FSA) - You will continue to have the opportunity to participate in a Healthcare and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) through Ameriflex. Williams Companies has adopted the 2025 IRS maximum contribution limits.
CANCER GUARDIAN - You will continue to have the opportunity to enroll in Cancer Guardian. This product provides a proactive approach to cancer and a comprehensive support program. Spouses and children are also eligible to be enrolled in this product.
ENROLLMENT CONSIDERATIONS
Open Enrollment begins on November 4th, 2024, and runs through November 15th, 2024. This year's open enrollment is ACTIVE, meaning your current elections will NOT roll over for 2025. You will need to log into ADP to make your benefit elections by November 15th, 2024, otherwise, you will not have coverage for 2025. Elections you make during open enrollment will become effective on January 1, 2025. WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
You are considered eligible for benefits if you are an employee hired and designated as Full-Time and scheduled to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Seasonal and temporary employees are not eligible. You are eligible to enroll your spouse and dependents if they meet the criteria below:
DEPENDENT COVERAGE
In addition to electing coverage for yourself, you can elect to cover your eligible dependents. You are eligible to enroll your spouse and dependents if they meet the criteria below: a. Spouse: Your legal spouse. This includes same sex spouses. b. Dependent: Dependents are eligible to be covered until age 26. Dependents include your biological children, your stepchildren, your legally adopted children, any children for whom you are responsible under court order.
EMPLOYEES EXPERIENCING A QUALIFIED CHANGE OF STATUS
Unless you experience a life-changing qualifying event, you cannot make changes to your benefits until the next open enrollment period.
Qualifying events include:
- Marriage or divorce
- Birth or adoption of a child
- Change in child’s dependent status
- Death of a spouse, child or other qualified dependent
- Change in employment status or a change in coverage under another employer-sponsored plan
- Entitlement to Medicare or Medicaid
Please notify Human Resources if you experience a qualified life event within 30 days of the event.
