BENEFITS OVERVIEW
MEDICAL PLAN Hamilton Lane offers employees the opportunity to enroll in one of three Cigna medical plans. DENTAL & VISION You will have access to dental coverage through Cigna and vision coverage through EyeMed.
SPENDING ACCOUNTS Hamilton Lane will offers Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, as well as a Commuter Spending Account. All three spending accounts are administered through WEX.
INCOME PROTECTION BENEFITS Life & Disability coverages are available through New York Life.
VOLUNTARY MEDICAL BENEFITS Hamilton Lane employees have access to several voluntary benefits through Cigna that are intended to complement the medical plans and cover out-of-pocket medical expenses such as copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS/RESOURCES Hamilton Lane encourages employees to prioritize overall wellbeing by offering an array of additional resources.
ENROLLMENT CONSIDERATIONS
Elections you make during open enrollment will become effective on January 1, 2023. For new hires, the elections you make are effective on the first day of the month following or coinciding with your date of hire. WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
All U.S. based full time employees working 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits.
DEPENDENT COVERAGE
In addition to electing coverage for yourself, you can elect to cover your eligible dependents. Your eligible dependents may include your spouse/domestic partner, your children up to age 26 regardless of student status, marital status, financial dependence, or residence, and your children of any age who are mentally or physically disabled and depend on you for support.
EMPLOYEES EXPERIENCING A QUALIFIED CHANGE OF STATUS
Unless you experience a life-changing qualifying event, you cannot make changes to your benefits until the next open enrollment period.
Qualifying events include:
- Marriage or Divorce
- Birth or adoption of a child
- Change in child’s dependent status
- Death of a spouse, child or other qualified dependent
- Change in employment status or a change in coverage under another employer-sponsored plan
- Entitlement to Medicare or Medicaid
You have 30 days from the date of the event to submit for a qualified event to your HR department.
